Dina Meyer is an American film and television actress born on December 22, 1968 in Queens, New York. Her father is an owner of an auto repair shop, and she has two brothers. Dina Meyer studied dance all throughout her childhood and has since loved performing dance recitals and stage productions. She knew passion is to be performer, and she was even accepted into New York's High School of Performing Arts, however her parents convinced her to take on a more academic career. She graduated with a degree in Business Administration and minored in French at Long Island University, and as well attended the Sorbonne in Paris. Now finished with her studies, it was then when Dina Meyer decided to go back to her first love, acting. Dina Meyer thus undderwent training at The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York, where she learned Sanford Meisner's acting techniques through mentor Ron Stetson.
The blooming actress Dina Meyer made her film debut co-starring Keanu Reeves in the action-thriller Johnny Mnemonic. This was followed by a lead role opposite Dennis Quaid in the feature film Dragonheart. Films which gave her a name in Hollywood are Starship Troopers and Bats, as well as a recurring role in the "Saw" franchise.
